{"id":117644,"date":"2020-09-09T10:37:55","date_gmt":"2020-09-09T10:37:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.c2c-online.co.uk\/?page_id=117644"},"modified":"2026-01-15T13:08:05","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T13:08:05","slug":"family-travelcard-terms-and-conditions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.c2c-online.co.uk\/about-c2c\/terms-conditions\/family-travelcard-terms-and-conditions\/","title":{"rendered":"Family Travelcard terms and conditions"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>A c2c Family Travelcard can be bought online at c2c-online.co.uk, through the c2c Train Travel App or at a c2c station train ticket office\n<ul>\n<li>Tickets purchased online or through the app will need to be loaded to a valid c2c Smartcard<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>In most cases, the Family Travelcard is <strong>not available<\/strong> for travel on trains <strong>arriving at London Fenchurch Street before 09:30<\/strong>. Evening peak restrictions will also apply on c2c services departing from London stations between 16:00 and 19:00 on weekdays.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>validity<\/strong> of the Family Travelcard <strong>ends<\/strong> on completion of the <strong>return journey to the originating station<\/strong>. The outward and return journey between the originating station and the Fare Zones area boundary station must be made on c2c services where tickets are specifically routed as such.<\/li>\n<li>Within the London Fare Zones area Family Travelcards are valid on the day for which the ticket is dated and for any journey that starts before 04:30 on the following day.<\/li>\n<li>Family Travelcards are valid for unlimited travel on:\n<ul>\n<li>National Rail (not including Heathrow Express or Elizabeth Line services between Hayes &amp; Harlington and Heathrow)<\/li>\n<li>London Underground<\/li>\n<li>Docklands Light Railway<\/li>\n<li>London Tramlink services<\/li>\n<li>Travel within Zones 1-6 of the London Area Fare Zones area<\/li>\n<li>The London bus network (including sections outside Greater London)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The Family Travelcard is not available on certain special bus services and excursions.<\/li>\n<li>Family Travelcards are available to groups consisting of <strong>one or two adults<\/strong> travelling with <strong>between one and four children aged under 16 years<\/strong>. The minimum eligible group must consist of 1 fare-paying adult and child. Child flat fares prices apply to children aged 5-15 years inclusive. Where the only child travelling is aged under 5, a child fare must be paid and a ticket held.<\/li>\n<li>All members of the group must hold a Family Travelcard and must travel together at all times.
