This has enabled us to maintain a reliable service while staff sickness rates have been high. It has also allowed us to save taxpayer money when passenger demand was significantly reduced.<\/p>\n<p>Since the Government announced the end of the work-from-home instruction, we have been monitoring passenger demand closely. As more people are now commuting again than were in early January, we will restore more services at peak times.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore we will make the following changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>With immediate effect:<\/strong> We are adding an additional morning service on the Tilbury and Rainham lines which will provide extra capacity at the busiest time of day. This departs Southend Central at 06.45 and calls at all stations via Rainham, arriving at Fenchurch Street at 08.05<\/li>\n<li><strong>From Monday 7 February:<\/strong> We will resume operating the \u201cRecovery Timetable\u201d that had been in place since last April, until we reduced services on 17 January. We will also resume running 12-car trains where they are normally scheduled at peak times.
