As part of the Government\u2019s national policy for ticket price changes, national rail fares will increase by 5.9% on 5 March 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

This rise will increase the cost of a peak time return from Southend Central to London Fenchurch Street to \u00a322.60 from \u00a321.40. A typical monthly season ticket from Basildon to London Fenchurch Street will increase from \u00a3308.40 to \u00a3326.50.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

New fares will be added to our website on 5 March 2023. Customers will still be able to purchase tickets before this date at their current price even for a date of travel after 5 March 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you now only travel part of the week and work from home part of the week, you may find a flexible-season ticket offers you better value. Flexible season tickets were created following the reforms set out in the governments \u2018Plan for Rail,\u2019 to offer a better deal to commuters with new travel patterns.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
